Salvaged Materials

Intent: Extend the life cycle of targeted building materials by reducing environmental impacts related to materials manufacturing, transport, and disposal.

This wall was constructed with broken concrete pieces salvaged from the jobsite. The pieces were dry-stacked and stained with ferrous sulfate.

Pervious Paving

This patio was constructed from flagstone and gravel to allow rainwater to drain.
